One day down!

After twelve hours of driving time plus a few stops, we've finally arrived in Lafayette! Unfortunately it's super late at night and we forgot to bring in our laptop so we can't upload photos, so look for those (and a longer, less sleepy blog post) tomorrow.

Overall it was a good day though. We stopped in New Orleans for dinner, so that was a nice highlight. I wish we would have had more time to explore but at least we got to see a little piece of it! 

Today was our longest drive, so it's nice to have that out of the way. Tomorrow we're looking forward    to seeing two sets of our dear friends in Texas--the Stablers and the Queeners!
